Title: Quick Graham Bread

1/2cBrown sugar
3/4cCold water
1/2cMelted shortening
3/4cMilk
1cWhite flour
1 1/3tsSalt
1tsBaking soda
2cGraham flour

Dissolve sugar in water; add shortening and milk. Sift white flour, measure, and sift with salt and baking soda. Add to first mixture. Add graham flour. Mix thoroughly. Bake in well-oiled bread pan, in moderate oven (375ø F) 1 hour. 1 loaf. The Household Searchlight - 1941
